We were particularly pleased to note the growing availability and popularity of underfloor heating, as this type of heating works especially well with natural stone and terracotta flooring. Natural stone and terracotta absorb the heat and retain it, releasing it gradually rather than in the quick overly-intense blast which ceramic and porcelain tiles tend to do. Users of underfloor heating in conjunction with natural stone and terracotta find that they don't need to have their heating on for as long or as frequently, and their floor is delightfully warm under their feet.
